The result of “better police work.” The reported seems incapable of seeing even a possible link between good guys with guns and few bad guys trying stuff.
From the article, “six of the county’s 84 homicides last year were either determined to be justifiable or resulted in no charges against the alleged assailant.” And that’s an increase in justified homicides. I fail to see the problem, unless one thinks no-one ever defends themselves. If anything, I’d imagine there’ve been some injustices done under pre-stand your ground law convictions.
