When you make stupid laws, they’re stupidly enforced
In Brooklyn, a store owner is being fined for selling toy guns. $5,000 per toy cowboy gun which is obviously not a real gun.
Dumbest thing I’ve heard in a while.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

That doesn’t happen in America. But in New York, it does.

So does anyone still think that NYC’s Stupid Gun Laws will be thrown out w/o the Feds stepping in via Legislation and/or the Federal Judiciary making it happen?

“But a Consumer Affairs spokeswoman countered, “Realistic-looking imitation guns are illegal and dangerous, and just last week, a 15-year-old in Texas was killed while holding one of these guns.”
– citation needed.
“The rule is designed to prevent cops from mistaking the toys for the real thing — and shooting an innocent kid — and to thwart criminals from using them to commit crimes.”
– One – That seems like a training problem for the real cops.
– Two – Real guns prevent criminals from committing crimes

Uncle, I am sure you will not have to wait long for the GFW’s to do something even dumber.

The “stupid laws” and their enforcements are IMO, cleverly designed and enforced to train us to be compliant serfs.

Odds that the fine for selling real guns is lower?

It’s the dumbest thing I’ve heard since a little bit earlier today.
