The article might be a good read, but it is housed at the HuffPo and I refuse to give that trash site any of my traffic.
Guess I’ll take your word on it, Uncle! 😉

Well, Sugarman should be glad that Clinton disarmed our military on their own bases, a policy kept by Bush and Obama–which made it easy for the jihadist to accomplish mass-murder at Ft. Hood.
Of course, guns are the supposed culprit for the increased suicides among our military–not the multiple, extended tours of duty in unending, undeclared, unconstitutional wars abroad while their own country’s borders are allowed to be invaded.
We should support our military by demanding that those who command them obey their Constitutional commands!!

As a Vet, I’m so glad that Sugarman feels that my Rights as a U.S. Citizen disappear when a Military Person puts on a uniform.
Oh, and isn’t it Amazing that the NRA has so much Power that they can make Laws that don’t die in the House, Senate or get Vetoed by the Anointed One.
Who knew that Wayne LaPierre actually ran the Republic?

Sorry to “me too” here but it bears repeating. If this were anything other then political exploitation Sugarman would focus on the shamefully low rate of pay and the ridiculously high demands we put on these folks who we claim to honor.

His argument is pretty straight forward. Only people with guns commit suicide.

Long term negative trend in gun ownership? There were 16.5 million NICS checks last year, 14.3 million in 2010, 14 million in 2009, 12.7 million in 2008, and 11.1 million on 2007. How is that a long term negative trend?

Sugarman needs to stay in daycare, not on the internet.
