Like you and me, only better
Police found suspected marijuana in Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission director Danielle Elks’ home. The drugs were not seized, there was not an investigation. Classic signs of a cover up or looking the other way to help out some politically connected bureaucrat. The TN ABC has a mission to eradicate marijuana.
Everyone involved should be investigated, even the police who covered it up.

Also note the lack of SWAT team, dynamic entries, and dead pets and/or residents.

I’m pretty sure that eradication of marijuana involves burning it.
Taking your work home with you is as American as Apple Pie, Ulcers and Heart Disease.

Sounds like TN is working hard to keep it’s ranking as the most corrupt state in the Union.

Insane. People are serving years in prison for weed and this loser is going to get a pass?

SGB:
Yes, she will get away with it, because she knows someone who knows someone who has the authority to fire whoever decides to pursue the case (as would happen with you and me).
Oh, and because 99.9% of the rest of the population could care less about official corruption and/or the steady erosion of civil liberties; they have more important things to worry about, like American Idol and DWTS. (“LOL! OMG!”)
It’s a thing of beauty, ain’t it?

How did they find it : The Highway Patrol sends 3 guys to the house to notify the wife of the car crash death of her husband and “the officers found the back door open and entered, concerned there may have been an intruder and wanting to check on the welfare of the occupants.”
That sounds a lot like a flimsy excuse for breaking and entering.
btw, really, it takes 3 guys to notify someone of a death? How many cars did they take? I must be cynical to think that it was probably 3 cars.

How about we go the other way and give everyone the same privilege as Danielle Elks?
