Growth of the M&P

New advertising and a marketing push. I’ve also read in a couple of gun rags about a few police departments adopting their handguns.

I love my M&P9c, but over at the 10-8 forum theres a thread about how accuracy in newer M&Ps is terrible.

  2. Other Steve Says:

There is a similar thread on m4Carbine.

Really making me consider getting an M&P 9. The accuracy issues seem to be limited to the 9 only, and of that worst in the key-lock versions not so much in the thumb safety versions.

I’ve been giving a LOT more though into a Walther PPQ instead.

  3. Jon Says:

The Los Angeles Sheriffs Department is issuing the M&P 9 to it’s new recruits…

  4. Richard Says:

There is more than just a few departments making the switch. Departments like Tampa, Detroit and Milwaukee have transitioned away from the Glock and into the M&P. Part of the reason has been reliability problems some departments have experienced with the Glock pistols.

  5. Lesane Says:

They are also doing $100 and $50 rebates for Military members who purchase one before June.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
