It has come to the attention of Connecticut Carry that the State Police Bureau of Identification has been stalling the administrative process of obtaining a pistol permit in the State of Connecticut. They’re sitting on 1,080 permits.

Oh, we gave him a day…who cares what he said.

It is nice that Connecticut Carry has an actual name, and not just a handle. But the gmail email address screams “ignore me”. If you don’t have enough cash to fund your own email address, you don’t have enough cash to sway votes.
Likewise, “instructing” government employees to do something sounds petulant and amateur, unless you happen to be a judge.

*I meant to say, an actual person’s name on the letter.

dustydog: We have been incorporated since the beginning of this year. We most decidedly *do not* have enough cash to sway votes, but we are working on it.

Not every organization out there starts with millions in the bank and thousands of supporters. This is grassroots.

I didn’t see the gmail address on the site. That being said, if you own http://ctcarry.com, then it’s just a few MX records in your domain DNS and a bit more configuration to get it going to your gmail account. Plus if you ever want to move providers, you can point the mail elsewhere and no one needs to change their address book.
I’m not sure if that means you now have to pay for gmail though. I can check that out later.

Had to pull it out of archive.org for some reason. Beware, that might mean it may be outdated.
More than happy to help anyone who supports the RKBA. If you express interest here, I’ll email you direct when I’m not at work.
