Something is better than nothing
I don’t have much confidence in my ability to draw quickly, but if I wait until I’m flawless, I’ll never have my gun with me.
QFT.
And given that Nancy is about 7 feet tall, she could probably just rip someone’s arm off and beat them to death with it.

I look up to her.

That’s why I like pocket pistols and Dockers.

Is she getting called out of the saloon by a gunfighter?

And I agree with her completely!
Nicely stated!!

Nancy, my housemate is a short guy, and a rassler, He could duck under your blow and trip you, then grapple on the ground. Don’t let ’em get close enough to do that.

I’m always in favor of training and preparation, but I think Nancy has really nailed it.
It’s generally true that we “don’t rise to the occasion, but default to the level of our training” – but I know of at least two spectacular examples of great defensive shooting – an NYPD officer who shot the gun out of a hair salon robber’s hand, and a Harlem restaurant supply owner who shot four armed robbers on the verge of slaughtering him and his employees. Neither of these two were especially experienced shooters.

Yes. Never attempt anything until you’re confident of your perfection at it. If the liberals haven’t taught us anything else, we should understand this.

Statuesque is the word that pops into my head. Intelligent and stater, uh, er, tall, yeah, tall and smart. I’d say pretty to, but her husband might kick my ass. I hope she carries ALL the time, beee-utiful baby girl needs a good role model. I think, she has one.
