That’s what offends you?
Yes, the offensive thing about Dance Moms is that they used fake guns as props.

To paraphrase Freud, sometimes a prop gun really is just a stand in for a giant penis.

“Raisin dater.”
One giant penis, and that whole program would have no “raison d’etre.”
I’ve done a lot of youth rifle coaching. Had a dancer come into the program once: nothing but trouble.

People watch that on purpose?

Well, real guns weigh more… it would have thrown off their balance.

The abject display of sheer ignorance is what’s painful, but go ahead and sweep the audience.

I’m with Bram @3. I’m offended by that show.

Please tell me you don’t watch that show? My wife watches that show. It’s horrible!
We had just finished eating dinner and my wife decided to fire that episode up on the DVR. The kids had gold painted plastic pistols for their dance routine and the mothers were going bat-guano crazy! Apparently the problems involved “having a gun can get you arrested” and “having a weapon can get you kicked out of the competition.”
Those little girls are going to be pretty messed up when they are adults.
