There are no stupid questions
I lied, yes there are: Is carrying a gun the best way to protect your iPhone?

If there are no stupid questions, then what kind of questions do stupid people ask ? Do they get smart just in time to ask questions? – Scott Adams

“It takes a Trained Person about 1.5 seconds…”
Maybe if one is in Condition White using their Smartphone as an mp3 player while reading their Kindle.

From the linked story:
Back to the bus stop example, which comes from a D.C. police crime report on Feb. 14: A woman was sitting at a bus stop on 11th Street NW about 1:30 a.m. when she was robbed of a laptop, cellphone, books, cash and credit cards.
Was the woman at fault for being out that late, carrying so many valuable items? Can she really expect to sit at a bus stop at any hour and not be targeted by criminals?
Risk avoidance — add that to the multiple-choice self-defense quiz.
Talk about doubling-down on the stupid.

My son was hit by a group of these thugs just off campus at UM in College Park, MD. Not being able to carry concealed or otherwise didn’t stop the thugs that kicked the crap out of him several weeks ago from holding him at gunpoint while they searched him, completed the beating and made their departure.
His phone was a brick because of software he installed on it, so that didn’t stop what happened. You have to go to classes and return without fear of these people or they win completely.
So, I say YES there are stupid questions and “carrying a gun is the best way to protect you and your phone”.

It beats carrying an iPhone to protect your gun.
