While I was down
Looks to me like a certain site got yanked. When setting up a social anything, it helps to be nice about.
Meanwhile, parody time!
Not sure it was relevant but this is interesting.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

I’m trying to recall a new site launch that was ever as much of an epic crash and burn, and I’m coming up empty.

I saw we refer to it as pulling a Smoke & Thunder.
I put it up here initially and tried to submit it to urban dictionary, at his request, but they didn’t take it.
I think it needs more usage. He took the crash and burn to a whole new epic level.

We’re gonna need a whole new category of fail for this one.

Didn’t think of it till just now. Yet another example of “Don’t mess with the Breda”.
She warned him but he didn’t want to listen.

Smoke and Thunder failed as fast as Lightning.

Well we may be shooting prematurely. Just got a message from Tango, I knew this morning there was a redirect its now displaying a construction page.
Maybe he’s rebuilding from the ground up? Hope the folks over at Smoking Blunder are ready.

This is from GOOGLE cache :
2. No More Blog! – The blog section of Smoke & Thunder (the part you are reading right now) will be closing permanently in the near future (within 30-60 days). Smoke & Thunder is a social network, NOT A BLOG! The blog section will be replaced a static page based on this post. Please keep in mind, @admin is not a “gun blogger” and has a great deal of disdain for many (but not all) of them. He prefers to leave the writing up to true experts in the field and he feels strongly that shitty gun blogs (meaning 99% of them) just distort, distract, and divert people (particularly newbies) away from sources of gun information that are MUCH MORE CREDIBLE and MUCH MORE EDUCATIONAL.

Smoking Blunder has knocked that guy down and continues to kick him in the head really hard every time he tries to get up. I am just speaking virtually and figuratively, here, y’all understand.

P.s. Oh, and metaphorically, too.
