For the booze cabinet
Vinturi Spirit Aerator. Seems a bit highfalutin to me. And they’re on sale at amazon, but still awful spendy.

Haven’t tried the Spirit model, but my oldest daughter has the wine version. she’s a true wine connoyser, having taken classes in viticulture, and she knows this stuff. She highly recommends the aerator, saying that it “breathes” the wine perfectly every time, with no waiting.

How much does it enhance the bouquet of, say, Thunderderbird or the finer boxed wines by Gallo?
Do they make a version to produce a perfect head on a beer poured from a can?
Just askin’ is all.
Actually in England there is a device for creating a perfect head on any beer, when poured from a tap. It aerates the last bit of the pour into the glass, avoiding the need for the beer to have excessively high CO2 content. I met a relative of its inventor just this week, here in Texas. Small world.

I can attest to the wonders of the red wine Vinturi. I’m no sommelier, but know a decent wine when I taste it. The Vinturi opens up newer vintages to make them taste more mature. A great product if you like red wine.
As to the Spirit aerator, I’m clueless.

They had ’em at Costco recently last Christmastime.
Can’t you just slam your spirits in a cocktail shaker?

Friends have one of those pour through models. It’s a mess. We much prefer our Nuance version which fits inside the bottle.
But for spirits? I’d be interested in what kind of difference you think it makes.

Cannot speak to the booze one (and I doubt my vodka would care), but the wine one seems to work just fine at doing what it advertises.

I was given one as a gift by That Guy and I can attest that it does do wonders. We have done side by side comparisons with wine from the same bottle and it is surprisingly different.
