As Pop N Fresh says, the TWS rail makes Tech Sights obsolete. For almost the same price you can get a peep rear with long radius and a steady top rail.
Sorry for the double post, but as an AK fan, I also got to throw out there an AK’s sight radius is nearly identical to an M4, it is more of the issue of the larger post and small notch.
I have one of those sights on my SKS and love it. Works dandy. There is a screw that holds it and the cover in place but set screws ensure that it goes back together without disrupting the sight adjustment. Highly recommended!
M4 sight radius is indeed lame…which is why I’ve tried to get mid-length hand-guards on most of mine, for longer sight radius. Post and notch sights work better for tracking movement though.

So how does one Field Strip it since the Take Down Release is now covered?

Les, apparently you push a pin from the side for take down.

How come the sight radius on an AK is “too short” but the nearly identical sight radius on a 16″ AR is “quick and fast to acquisition?”
