So, when?
Obviously, there is a huge difference between incivility and putting people in ovens. But when does one become concerned? I’d hope it’s closer to the start than the end. Dehumanization is the way these things have historically started and noting that is not hysterical.
Update: For instance, how easily do you think this twit could be convinced it’s OK to send police door to door looking for gun owners?

Hysterical is his reaction. He reads as though he believes his thoughts are read with great care. Methinks he has delusions of adequacy.

I’ll probably catch some inbound flak for this, but Dehumanization is a two-way street.
I know several statists/liberals, and they are sincere, passionate and convicted in their beliefs. They’re wrong, of course, but they are every bit as human as I am.

When does one become concerned? How about when the Daily Kos publishes a Hate-Filled Rant, leaves it up, and the Gooberment and it’s Allies say not one word to them to clean up their Act?
But have Rush Limbaugh call someone a Slut because that person is whining about how the Gooberment needs to fund her Sex Life….
Of course, those same Gooberment and MSM and NGO types will be attending that Stupid Daily Kos Annual Conference, so since they seem to Condone such Death Threats against a Political Class, thus giving Aid, Comfort and Cover to those same Haters, I believe the time to be concerned is now.

I’m thinking that Mr. Quick ran his (figurative) mouth without really reading, and is now blustering mightily to try and convince someone (anyone!) that he had something useful/intelligent to say on the matter. Sort of a character test, unfortunately for him.
IMHO, this is a problem for many of us in the “older generation” – when we something that offends us that is neatly printed and in public, we react entirely too fast and loud – when if it had come up in conversation it would have been defused instantly.

Yep. A pity; he might’ve been fun.

Matty Wesley Craven: a craven coward if ever there was one.
