In New Orleans, city employees will have traffic camera tickets forgiven because the city didn’t tell the employees that speeding was illegal. Shouldn’t they have known that?

So … are they going to forgive everyone else’s traffic tickets? They didn’t inform everyone else in that state that speeding was illegal.

Yeah, it’s not like they have big giant signs on the side of the road telling you so, or make you pass a written test that covers these topics… Oh wait. Nevermind.

So, can I get my $75 back from the city? Had I known there was a speed camera along N. Peters, I wouldn’t have been going five over at 03:00.
