The state asks for stay while they appeal. If I lived there, I’d be figuring out how to apply.

and follow the links for “How To Apply”. There are sample forms to show how it’s done along with all the instructions you need. If you have questions, please email us for a fast response.
There are no guarantees your app won’t get held up while the state plays games with taxpayer dollars. But if you don’t apply, you will never get approved.

Maryland law makes no distinction in their application process for Resident or Non-resident. Go ahead and apply. I am, and I live in a neighboring state.

Now if we could just get rid of the ballistic database. No arrests made since its birth, but millions spent annually. Go figure that a criminal isn’t going to lawfully purchase a handgun to go out and commit crimes with.
For all their handgun and hi-cap silliness, Maryland has pretty good Class III policies.

I would, but I can’t afford a “yes” when asked if I’ve been denied for a permit before. Maybe when the most recent crop of apps start coming back approved.

I cant even remember some of the shithole places I worked and several of the others are out of business.
I wonder how one would apply if they were too far from MD to get a MD fingerprint card done?

Actually Jeff, it hasn’t been funded by the legislature in a few years. MSP just has barrels of brass that they could probably recycle (given brass prices) and actually make money on.
At least, that’s the word on the street.
I’m waiting to see what happens this Friday with Gura’s reply to the Rule 58 clarification motion (and request for a stay). Then I will probably start to get my app together.
