Yes, they should
Another Koolaid drinker: Smith & Wesson should just cut a deal with Apex to put their triggers and sears in every M&P.

Smith should, but they won’t. Too many Lawyers willing to sue them when some kid decides to play with Daddy the Cop’s Unsecured Pistol and pulls the trigger on his sister in Washington State and kill her.
Not that such a thing could EVER happen in REAL life, of course….but S+W just can’t take the Chance. Remember, there’s nothing the Anti-Gunners would like more than to SUE all the Firearms Companies out of existence, is all.

What kills me is why they don’t just license the RAM. It’s like the gun was designed to have it in the first place, anyway, and it’s not like it’d make the trigger any less lawyer resistant. Unless the guys at Apex want an obscene amount of money per unit for the license, I’m not seeing a downside…

They Should Cut A Deal Between Each Other.

Tam, I seriously cannot see Randy at Apex being a tool about licensing the RAM… He seems like a totally reasonable guy… But I can definitely see S&W not want to pay $15 bucks a piece to him per unit either… Its pretty sad… Everyone would benefit…
