My employer should be forced by the government to buy me a gun

The WSJ has a bit on, if contraception, then why not coffee, massage and gym memberships? In the event of a robbery or home invasion, having a firearms is the best preventative care.

  1. Sean Says:

My employer serves pretty decent tully’s coffee and gives $600 annual wellness subsidy for gym memberships, etc.

Obviously they aren’t mandated to do so, which goes a long way to boost morale IMHO.

  2. Moriarty Says:

    Pre-ven-tive.

(It’s only “preventative” if you become disorientated and start to stutter while conversating.)

    😉

  3. JKB Says:

Did you see Fluke has an op-ed at CNN claiming free birth control for women is a natural human right.

    But it’s all good, see:

But, despite the misinformation being spread, the regulation under discussion has absolutely nothing to do with government funding: It is all about the insurance policies provided by private employers and universities that are financed by individual workers, students and their families — not taxpayers.

See, it’s not the taxpayers paying, it’s workers, students and their families.

Note to public: Never seek legal representation from Sandra Fluke on insurance matters or is her understanding of “insurance” common among Georgetown educated lawyers?

  4. Bubblehead Les Says:

I think the Gooberment is Responsible for my “Unorganized Militia” Equipment. Let’s see, yep here it is. U.S. Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, quote : “To provide for organizing, ARMING and disciplining the Militia….”

Funny how I’m supposed to get Firearms if need be, yet there’s no such thing as Birth Control in the Constitution.

But Fluke wants Free Condoms to be paid for by the Tax Payer?

Stand in line, Lady. You get your Trojans when I get my M4!

  5. Gnarly Sheen Says:

Moriarty, “preventative” is acceptable usage. Don’t be pedantic.

On topic: I support this idea!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
