Why are anti-gun activists so violent?
Chris Rock, who doesn’t think you should own guns, assaults conservative camera woman from safely behind his two bodyguards.

Joshua Rimene, 21, was taking a shotgun down from a cupboard at his Masterton home in December last year when he dropped the loaded weapon.
He managed to catch the gun as it fell, but simultaneously pulled the trigger.
So, if you go vacationing and head to the hotel pool, it might be closed. Seems a federal law went into effect requiring pools to have wheelchair lifts.
You know, I don’t notice a lot of wheelchair bound people playing basketball. Someone should get on that.
Funny how that worked: Gun rights and the death of newspapers
I think without the internet, we’d still have 90s era gun laws.
An interesting case, and sad if true:
Three Eugene police officers testified in federal court Monday that they believe former colleague Brian Hagen was removed from the police department’s K-9 unit in 2008 in retaliation for raising safety concerns about working with its SWAT team.
The testimony came on the first day of a jury trial in Hagen’s $600,000 civil rights lawsuit against the city. Hagen alleges that supervisors violated his free speech rights by transferring him from his dream job working with a police dog after he persistently questioned the department’s response to multiple, inadvertent discharges of high-powered weapons by SWAT team members.
Well, if they had multiple, inadvertent discharges, looking into basic gun safety would be a good idea. Sure, it’s not all tacticool ninja but if it saves a life . . .
I like my tactical underoos. But it’d be better if they were bullet proof. So, here you go.
Forget about double-barreled 1911s, The P333AT gives you all that and one more barrel. I’m certain PMSN will be pooping themselves soon.
So, the anti-gunners are upset that it’s harder to vote than buy a gun. This is bullshit, of course. I’ve never had to undergo a background check and pay a fee to the state in order to cast a ballot.
Kevin wants you to like The Second Amendment Foundation. If you’re on the facebook, go here and click like.
A legislator in Cali wants to ban violent people from sporting events. Ok, then.
Some homeless people were given jobs. Their jobs were to walk around with 4G devices, making them mobile hotspots. Apparently, paying people to do a job is offensive to some people. A paying job is, apparently, “shameful, patronizing, and de-humanizing”.
From a must read by Marko:
You’re not the better human by not fighting back. You’re not the better human for choosing to have no claws or teeth. You’re not the better human for delegating responsibility your personal safety to some underpaid guy or girl with a tin badge. And you damn sure don’t get to claim a halo for your attitude.
Fixed blade EDC knife. I was reading The Practical Guide to Everyday Carry Gear and it had a section on knife carry. It made a good case for a fixed blade.
A second amendment textbook! I recall that, at some point, Glenn Reynolds taught a class on the second amendment.
Via Sebastian.
Mentioned it here. But others are chiming in:
More from Caleb, who runs down the list.
Preference is pretty much the most important part. As I said before, I just don’t like AKs. If it works for you, have fun.
And new (to me) from Rock River arms comes the LAR-47. An AR that takes AK magazines.
A bunch of hippies are protesting that Sig Sauer is expanding to their town. And they have stupid, simplistic signs.
The Diablo, from Dragon Leatherworks.
Tactical stock for the Garand. I can hear you crying from here.
MSN poops pants over the double barreled 1911. You know, the novelty gun we’re all making fun of. So bleats our intrepid, err, cry baby:
Someone has finally invented a weapon that combines the killing power of a double-barreled shotgun with the portability of a handgun.
Clearly, someone who is an expert on firearms! The PSH is strong.
I linked this as gun porn before but Caleb v. fan boys:
. . . there’s basically no reason in this modern age to select a Kalashnikov style rifle over an AR other than wanting to be contrary. The developments that have been made in 5.56 bullet technology, and the understanding we have now of the AR weapons system has effectively rendered the old reasoning for buying an AK completely moot.
Back in the day, it was .45 v 9mm and Glock v. 1911. Now, I see a lot of people in the handgun world switching to some plastic pistol in 9mm. Is the AK v. AR and 5.56 v. 7.62 about to go that way?
The science is settled!
A class at Michigan State on surviving the zombie apocalypse. That almost makes me want to get another Masters degree.
The tragedy of comments. Yes, a community regulated comment system. What could possibly go wrong?
Good:
Congress never gave the IRS the authority to license tax preparers, and the IRS can’t give itself that power.
But last year the IRS imposed a sweeping new licensing scheme that forces tax preparers to get IRS permission before they can work. This is an unlawful power grab that exceeds the authority granted to the IRS by Congress.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
