Unpossible! No Civilian would carry Cop-Killing Hollow Point Ammo! Why, a NY State Firearms Instructor said so!

So, does that mean I’m not a civilian then? Cool!

I have found hollowpoint ammunition (22LR) rounds in my truck over a year after dumping a box of 50 accidentally, when I was digging through a range bag in the back seat. And I clean that truck regularly.
So I could become an accidental felon in NJ without any intention to behave in a criminal manner.
Looks like I’ll be avoiding the Garden State on any driving trips back east in family cars.
But I wonder if a sustained effort at civil disobedience was begun, in which NJ vehicles seen outside NJ were salted with 22LR hollowpoint rounds up under the windshield or in the truck bed, or in rental cars under the carpet, if there would eventually be a realization that the horrid killer bullets were just, well, bullets, would ever happen. More likely the NJ courts would gladly pack hundreds of innocent citizens off to jail without a thought.

And they would probably order the early release of violent felons to make enough room, too.
