We need to be a little careful with that Stat. Keep in mind, a baby born last week in Mass General Hospital counts as a Citizen. And Al Capone was finally caught for Tax Evasion on all the Illegal Money he made as a Gangster. What I’d like to know is the difference between those who are Taxable Wage Earners versus those who are Tax Recipients/Welfare Getters/Retirees on Gov’t Pensions, et.all.
But if the same Standard was applied to the U.S. by the EU and the IMF as has been applied to Greece, Ireland, Spain, etc, then even the Chinese probably couldn’t Fund our Bailout!
