Guns in cars bill
Senator Campfield thinks it’s done for, seems our legislators are suddenly concerned with property rights. In that case, remove the criminal provision and employers can still fire people.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

That has always been my point. How can you argue that you are against a law that allows the government to intrude on private property, and then say that you want to be able to have someone arrested because they brought a gun on your property? That makes it seem to me as if you are against government interference, unless the government is interfering in your favor.
Florida and Missouri have the right idea: You can put up a sign announcing a gun ban on your property, but a person can’t be arrested unless you discover that he disobeyed the sign, you asked him to leave, and he refused. Until that happens, your “property rights” haven’t been harmed.

If they’re so concerned with private property rights then they should also repeal ADA, eliminate OSHA and the EPA, repeal all zoning laws and occupational licensing. Until then, whining about property rights is just bullshit.

Just reviewed some Gun Laws up here in Ohio for another Project. Leaving out Federal Laws and State Laws on where one can carry (like Schools and Courthouses), it’s pretty much up to the Individual Company/Property Owner. But it looks like they need to Post “Signs” first.
But there’s something else. There’s “No Guns Allowed” within the Property Boundaries of Schools. That means Parking Lots. But come Election Days, one can’t pull into the School, remove their Pistol, and put it into the Trunk, because one has already crossed the Property Line.
So that means to Exercise One’s Constitutional Right to Vote, one has to Give up their Constitutional RKBA, unless one decides to follow the Absentee Ballot route. Hmmmm.
