I thought the 7.62×35 (300 AAC Blackout) was the Americanized commie round? If I could own a can and/or SBR, that would be next on my list. Stupid state of Iowa.
Thanks for the linkage.
Not like the 6,8… The 6.8 was designed with the exact same design parameters as the 7.62×39. A mid size mid velocity cartridge. The main difference is that balance of bullet length to diameter is slightly more close to optimum…
I think they’re fighting like the dickens to keep from being crushed by .300 BLK.
Tho depending on what you’re shooting, what distances, there’s room in the boat for all of them!
Tho as a Masshole who can’t get new big-boy magazines, the fact that .300 BLK will feed out of the dusty pre-ban colt mags that are stacked like cordwood in most gunshops.
I like 5.56. No recoil to speak of, very fast follow-up shots, and blows the shit out of what you shoot with it due to the high velocity. If the USMC can take it into battle, so can I. If it’s good enough for them, then it’s good enough for me. 6.8? WTF? Bullshit! Who needs that oddball crap?!
I have a 6.8 upper. Like it fine because I can use my 5.56 lower and the 6.8 works well on whitetails. If I would have needed a special lower, I would have just bought or built a .308 rifle and not messed around with the 6.8 at all.

Given the BLK accuracy issues coming to light, it probably won’t be much of an issue.

Seems that is coming from the a neck tension problem unc and it mainly is a problem of reloaders.

I am happy to hear this. I stopped by Friday to buy some 6.8mm ammo for a weekend range trip but the store was completely out of all 6.8mm.
