Well, I’ve yet to see a slightly different AR pattern rifle or a slightly different Springfield XD
Similar to that last post, Linoge is getting bored with the firearms industry. With the NRA convention kicking off (and me, unfortunately, unable to attend), I expect the usual litany of slightly different XDs, slightly different ARs, something with Zombie written on it, and some ridiculous new set up for a .410 handgun.
Well, I hope I’m wrong.
But I will say that, despite my comments on the S&W M&P Shield, it actually is a little different to announce in this day and age.

I suspect all the rage will be about the Double 1911…or 2822 (or would it be 3822?) or whatever they were calling it.
Also, someone will introduce a plastic AR-15 magazine.
I may drive up there tonight after work. What is it, about 8 hours from East TN?

LWRC is debuting a new 6.8 SPC rifle that has an enlarged mag well. The bigger magazine well is to make it possible to manufacture polymer 6.8 mags, which Magpul is apparently doing for them.

I guess I’ve always been a bit bored with the gear… Now getting out and actually using it to learn/do something? That’s what has become “crack” to me.
If the design doesn’t support the shooting, forget it…
