Oil Filter Suppressors
I’ve mentioned these before, but here’s an interesting video:
They even test it on a full auto.

Id like to see some decibel ratings. Silly that you have to pay a $200 tax for something like this.

How do you use sights when the can is so big?
I remember a Tom Clancy character painting a white line on a homemade pistol suppressor and point shooting it, but on the Ruger 10/22 in the video the optic looks blocked by the can.

Dude was doing so many politically incorrect things at once the libs would have a conniption. Shooting, Using a suppressor, shooting a full auto, and smoking a cigarette…

Don’t know about the rest of ya’s, but I’d be real nervous about sending that first round down the barrel with a fresh filter.

It sounds like the noise difference between oil can and regular suppressor is a matter of supersonic v. subsonic bullet. I would expect supersonic from a 10/22 but hearing it on a pistol length barrel has me doubting my interpretation of the audio. Thoughts?

I would bet money the oil filter is quieter, just because it has so much more internal volume.
