Banning guns at the GOP convention
The mayor wants to but state law says no:
The absurdity of banning squirt guns but not being able to do anything about real guns is patently obvious.
Like Bob said: No, Mr. Mayor. What is absurd is that you want to ban squirt guns.

Is it equally absurd that a grown man desires some company like Magpul to build and sell a really high quality squirt gun? One that can survive being frozen, and still shoot when thawed?
Like airsoft, only wetter?

The absurd thing is that every time there is a large convocation of leaders, a cordon is pulled around the site where people in that area aren’t even welcome to drive or walk by, or if they do they’re treated like potential criminals.
I call these “temporary abrogation of rights zones.”

That’s because Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn is a DEMOCRAT and the Klan, err… I mean the DNC wants to see a repeat of the 2008 convention in ST. Paul, MN where Occuploy thugs attacked and harassed Republicans outside the convention center. Hurling bricks and dropping sacks of concrete on buses and the like. It’s alot harder to intimidate people who are heeled and legally allowed to shoot you if you fuck with them. Gee, it brings the whole attack on Stand Your Ground law in FL into perspective, doesn’t it?
