Good move. That case was won in Hernandez v. Illinois (law license) almost 40 years ago. There is no rational relationship between citizenship and the ability to lawfully bear arms. It helps that the plaintiff in this case is a permanent resident.

because heller was a due process case and not a P&I case, what nk says is true. If it was a P&I case then it would be possible to restrict gun ownership to citizens.

Its a slam dunk case actually. Can’t believe New Mexico hasn’t already folded. There was a state north of here that recently did fold on this.

The right to keep and bear arms is a universal right. It’s not just some easily dismissed peculiarity, that is peculiar to America. Everyone on this planet has the right to live. The Bushman in Africa, the gaucho in the sadddle in South America, the Russian bureaucrat trudging through the snow – they all have the right to have a simple, powder-based device available to them, so that they can continue to live. A gun is just the way we do things these days. Not much different from the middle ages. We’ve had some time to adjust, so what’s the problem? Oh, yeah, the commie fucktards. But, ya know, we haven’t had time to figure them out?!

Okay, had to kill capitalists just to shut them off. Just
