Imagine that..
A gunsmith I know has some pictures of a melted trunion from a dealer sample that had a beta c mag dumped through it.
Not sure, but I think Larry Vickers mentioned the same thing awhile back on one of his Gun Shows.
H&K has released a statement:
You suck and we hate you.

I am shocked, shocked, to hear that a gun loses accuracy as it becomes hotter. What’s next, failure to extract?
nk, Your right. Same reason we should still use muskets, yeah you have to reload them, but you have to reload modern guns too!

Havent they been saying the G36 and XM8 are too heat sensitive from the get-go?
