I’m a gun owner but . . .
When someone says that, it’s usually a lie:
I’m a hunter and a sportswoman. I own guns, but not for self-defense. I support gun control laws.
Owning guns not for self defense would put you in the minority. More here

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

So if she was being attacked/beaten/raped she wouldn’t use any of her guns to defend herself, even if she had it close to hand? Is that what she’s saying?

As Scumf@ck in Babylon put it, “gunbutts”. As in, “I’m a gun owner but…(why do you need so many bullets, assault rifles, handguns, blah blah blah)”.

So when she is awakened in the middle of the night by an unknown person noisily breaking into her home, to defend herself she of course will first call 911 and then await police arrival passively sitting on her bed.
Or if the dispatcher tells her it is OK to prepare to defend herself, will she pick up:
1) a frying pan
2) a baseball bat
3) a loaded hunting rifle
4) a copy of the NY Times?

Somebody needs to tell this stoopid knt that the 2nd Amendment isn’t about her hunting guns, but my “assault rifles”.

“I am a licensed driver and car enthusiast. I own several cars, but NOT FOR DRIVING. I support car control laws!”
There, that sounds MUCH more sane!

Just re-read the Second Amendment for the third time (this week). It does NOT say anything about hunting…

Look closer…its in the penumbra.

This argument is based only on the belief that the thoughts of the one ‘gun owner’ that talks like an anti and is parroted in the press is more important than the thoughts and beliefs of the next 15 actual gun owners/users who belive in the right.
There is no power here for them without the amplification that the MSM brings.
