   This is probably a cynical move by Putin, who will take the occasion of ordering the destruction to tell the UN that he is working towards compliance with the Small Arms Treaty, when, in fact, his country is likely the biggest violator of it.

   Therefore, we get a double insult: we won’t get access to those guns through the free market, and the idiotic, anti-2A Small Arms Treaty will get a boost. The ONLY possible thing we will get in return is a slight boost in the collector value of those guns.

   Mark it down: we will have to fight, as in using the Cartridge Box, to keep our Second Amendment. That is looking guaranteed.

   Oh Great. The Moisen that was $90 at the Gun Show LAST weekend will be $190 THIS weekend with the Big Sign saying “Russia Destroying Moisens! Last of the Imports! Get one NOW!”
