Trayvon Martin Target
This is hideous and offensive. And it doesn’t paint gun folks in a good light.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

If there was ever a reason not to give your trade to a company, this would be it.

A several weeks back, within a week or two of the Trayvon story breaking, my Sister-in-law posted a pic on FaceSpace of her with a handgun target showing her performance from a class she took at an Atlanta Indoor Range. She is new to shooting.
The target was one of those with a pic of some perp–in this case–who happened to be black (no hoodie).
The target was given to her by her BLACK FEMALE instructor which she felt compelled to state in her post (she didn’t want to ask the instructor for a target with a different “demographic” on it because she was afraid THAT would be offensive to the woman).
The backlash she got on her page was impressive from people stating she was a racist, to the point that she took the pic down and de-friended those who accused her. Couldn’t risk it, you know, as she works for the .gov.
Anyway, the Trayvon targets are despicable, unjustifiably provocative, and do not help our cause at all. I just post the above as it occured to me that people freak out over any target, unless it is of a white person, or zombie. I suspect that only white zombies are acceptable as well, unless it is zombie-UBL.
