All by its own self
One of the guns discharged. No, it didn’t. It was fired by someone with their finger on the trigger.

Someone didn’t keep the booger hook of the bang switch. Let me guess, he was the only person there qualified enough to handle that firearm. He needs to step up and admit what really happened. But, he won’t. And the police investigating it will probably just look the other way. Unfortunately that will leave the manufacturer of the firearm open for litigation.

“Mass. police officer allegedly accidentally shoots pregnant woman”
What a screwed-up headline. What was ‘alleged’?
a) That is was an accident?
b) That she was shot?
c) That she was pregnant?
d) That she was a woman?

When it is a non cop who shoots someone like this it is criminal negligence. When a cop does it it is the gun went off of its own volition..

It totally discharged.
Because of someone with their finger on the trigger.

Well if they decide to stick with that story, then they should have ALL the officer’s guns pulled and evaluated for safety by an independent organization. Can’t have the protectors and servers firearms going off all by their lonesome like that. That’d be daaaangerous!

Lemme see here. Keep muzzle in a safe direction? Fail! Finger on trigger without sights on the target? Fail! Sure of the target and what is beyond it? Fail! Now why in the world would a “newspaper” report that the gun “just went off” and not tell the truth? Idiots…
