Effective campaigning
First, he gave a speech from an empty factory and now he had an event in front of the shuttered Solyndra headquarters. If Romney sticks to the economy and doesn’t chase the social issue stick, he might win.

Interesting. If Romney can avoid falling for the ZOMG GAY COOTIES trap that will inevitably be set for him, and he can stay focused on the “ZOMG TEH ECONOMY IS TEH SH!T”, he might have a chance.
Or, you know, he could put out a press release with a typo in it…

Jay G,: that would be the equivalent of the dems throwing the abortion/gay cooties stick in front of a bus.
I dearly hope the Dems continue to spazz out over typos while Romney beats the Obama Depression drum.

You have in Romney a person who knows how to run an organization and also how to close a deal. Has our current President exhibited either of those skills, personally?
I think Team Obama will be unpleasantly surprised that every time they trot out a tired meme Romney goes on campaigning. After all, he is not in this to run for president. He is in this to win the office.
Unfortunately that same focus means he might be less amenable to stand on principles, other than expedience. Time will tell.
