In Venezuela, where they just banned all gun transfers:
If you can’t keep guns out of prisons, how can you control them anyplace else?

And they banned gun sales – because Chavez’ union thugs already have plenty of guns supplied by him.

The purpose of the new laws is not to ban guns, it is to disarm select groups of the populace.
Guess whether supporters of Chavez or opponents of his attempts to create a socialist paradise will be “gun controlled” first.
