Not as exciting as CTD makes it sound. The law has considered BB guns firearms for a while now (there’s a carve-out for paintball guns that makes any airgun of caliber .375 or higher not a firearm, and right now Airsoft are exempted, presumably under the “capable of causing serious injury” requirement, since they are sold without firearms paperwork.) The increase in penalty is new, but not specifically targeted at airguns.
Anyone know of someplace I can get an airgun tossing a projectile >3/8″ with a muzzle velocity worth mentioning, in a handheld package ? I saw the .50 air rifle at least year’s NRA convention.

I don’t like to be a single-issue voter, but this is a good reason Gov. Christie should not be on the ticket.

we need to get Top Men on a project to detach NJ from the rest of the country and let it float off into the Atlantic.

Can we send NY City and Southern CA with them?

Knew it was NJ before I clicked on the link to bring me here. And it’s not exactly Governor Christie’s fault; the law dates back to the sixties.

Ten years and a $150K fine for the government asswipes who harassed a citizen for having a BB gun! (or any other gun)

#2 ATLien you beat me to it. I immediately thought of Bugs Bunny sawing off Florida, but with NJ instead. “U.K., take it away!”
