Excellent news, Unc. I had the chance last year to coonfinger the P290 right after it was introduced. Seems pretty solid, but I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet…
Did you get the one with the new “Re-Strike” trigger? Not that the re-strike is all that interesting but the trigger pull is supposed to be somewhat less.
Very interested in your experiences…I am still looking for optimum pocket nine solution…the P290 is in the running along with the Kahr CM9, Sig P938. (Do not count the Kimber as they are only somewhat more real to me than a Boberg and the tooth fairy)

Interesting to see how it stacks-up against a Kimber Solo or a 9mm Commander…? 🙂

I have had mine for about 8 months, paid $469 out OTD with two mags, laser, and holster from KY Gun Co.
Shot about 500 rds of three kinds of ammo with no issues whatsoever.
Love it!

For me, the P290 is to heavy for what it is. Kahr got it right with the CM9. Nothing better IMO. YMMV
