Ford has essentially had this with Sync.
GM has kind of cheated by sending a lot of it to a live person, but has it with OnStar.
I’ve done this with my Android phone and bluetooth enabled GPS unit.
Your iPhone or car aren’t smart enough to do the voice processing and recognition. So Siri sends your voice back to Apple for processing. Then *Apple* answers you. I do not want them monitoring everything I say in my car.

Oddball, people don’t like Apple products because they do “X” first, they like Apple products because they do “X” better.
