Holder is perfectly willing to compromise. Just like any accused man losing his case is perfectly willing to compromise on withholding evidence leading to his conviction.
Don’t fire him. Don’t have him resign. Investigate him. Throw the book at him.

Negotiating with Holder is about as useful as negotiating with Iran or North Korea.

I have no facts to support this theory, just my observations of how Holder runs his department. He want to meet privately so that he can attempt to politically blackmail his way out of his dilemma.
