Wanted to do 300 BLK, but forced myself to wait to see if Remington followed through with their promises to make ammo plentiful and reasonable. Did not happen.
300 BLK may be a great round for those who want to load, but frankly it’s the same old story as 6.8 SPC: failed promises from Remington.
They dance, they sing…but they don’t deliver. I won’t buy their stories anymore. Their word is shot to me.
What promise did remington fail on? They make a supersonic and subsonic load for it. Others are too.
Remmy even has a white box load for it now!
I roll my own, but there is already a better selection of factory ammo out there for it than 6.8. Remember, 300 Whisper works in it too, so that puts Hornady in the mix as well.

Meh. Mall-ninja sniper caliber. 1870 ballistics. What’s next? Maybe a blackpowder Kentucky Squirrel Rifle upper that shoots a .36 caliber ball from closed ignition?
Remington is doing us a favor. Ya gotta dance with who ya brung, and that’s 5.56 NATO.
