That’s what it’s supposed to do
The court is not a revenue generating entity; the court is there to ensure that justice is done. When you start looking at a court as a place where you’re going to come up with money and generate revenue, then you’ve got a kangaroo court, and that is not what Dallas is all about.

LOL! That is what 99.9% of all courts are today. A corrupt, fraudulent, money generating machine for the local township. It reminds me of my pick for 2011 oxymoron of the year “justice center”. Our most honored officers in the highway patrol have been caught “making quota”, and when you have to go to court, miss work, pay the cop tax, then you are in a kangaroo court when dealing with quotas. It is truly ashame that this is perhaps the last judge in the US to think this way, I would assume the bar association is ready for his retirement. Just like red light cameras, they are sold to the public to “keep us safe”, but in reality they do not prevent rights on red, running yellow lights, they simply monitor the tax payer funded road system with tax payer dollars to generate more funds for the tax sucking system. Of course it is all about revenue generation.

The perfect storm of it is that it just came out of a few months ago that Dallas cops are making more traffic stops but writing fewer tickets. That means more warnings, which is better citizen interaction and better for safety.
If this keeps up, I won’t be able to call myself anti-cop anymore.

Dunno Phelps, I wonder how many non probable cause searches they conduct when making those extra stops? Remember the TN video that came out about the cops on I-75 drug enforcement stopping over 80% of vehicles traveling South bound and 20% North, followed by video release through FOIA that showed the officers flatly asking the South bound drivers where the cash was. Don’t give up, there plenty to be anti about.
