Has she had a lot of facelifts? Gore Vidal used to hang out with Wallis Simpson, Edward VIII’s wife. Supposedly she had had over a dozen facelifts, and seemed dumber after each one. Vidal’s hypothesis was that every time you get general anesthesia, you have somewhat less of your wits than you did before.
