My CTAC IWB holster was worn just about daily and handled fairly roughly (riding in a truck’s glove compartment when not being worn) for two years before it showed any problems. A spot “weld” on the Kydex became detached. The company politely explained that the product was over a year out of warranty and offered to sell me a new one.
As a Chemist, I realized the solution to my problem could be found at Home Depot. A bit of PVC “glue” (Methyl Ethyl Ketone, MEK) and the holster was as good as new. It has been in use for another two years without further issues.
Comp-Tac makes good holsters that wear well. When a problem did arise with mine, it was readily repairable even though long out of warranty.
