That stabbing spree story is a few months old, April to be exact. I don’t know why Drudge put it on the front page (again) last week.

Perhaps people are finally searching for, and discovering, that crime *stopped* by citizens is frequent and commonplace?

I can’t stop laughing at this. I understand what the reporter means, but it still comes across as hilariously stupid. The way it’s worded makes it sound like the knife was harmless until the guy used his evil voodoo magic on it.

Technically, that’s true. It was a harmless tool he decided to use as a weapon.
