Reminds me of the mythbuster episode where they showed that finger print locks can be opened with a photocopied picture of a print. It’s all to make you feel good, not to provide security.
While it wasn’t done by a three year old, I can verify that a Stack-On gun storage locker can be opened in no time by a determined thief using any flat household object as a pry bar. I still miss that Remington 870 and the Ruger .270 and the 10/22 that were stolen.
