In TN, a new law says you can’t refuse a BAC test at a traffic stop. And they’ll force a blood draw if you keep it up.
This should be nothing that requires a federal case but Court Rules Confiscated Firearms Be Returned After Case is Closed
Some more stuff. The mother of the victim says it’s fishy. Yes, I think so. And don’t carry a soft body holster.
Some more details here, featuring someone I know.
Building a lightweight AR upper receiver
CTD’s top selling gun. I was surprised.
Mentioned before but the 14.9 SOP looks awesome. Supersonic at 5,400 meters.
So, at the new gig, I managed to hurt myself and it requires a band-aid. As a father, all of the band-aids in the house are some sort of kid’s cartoon character. I get up the other morning and put on a pink band-aid. I head out to the job site and am relaying instructions and comparing notes with the foreman. After talk of the day’s plans, what needs done and all manner of detail, he looks at my wrist where the band-aid has come loose and is flapping in the wind and in his best alpha male voice says “Your Dora is falling off.”
I said “It’s a princess, asshole”.
Right now, I have a Phineas and Ferb band-aid.
So, the cop was using a soft, probably nylon holster that did not cover the trigger. Holsters should secure the weapon and that includes covering the trigger. Also, a reader emails that MI has a law saying cops can’t carry if their BAC is above a certain level. This was after midnight at a party. What are the odds? And what are the odds his BAC was actually checked?
Silencer association addresses ATF and congress. On the block, LEO sign off? I’d be surprised.
While the DOJ was arming drug cartels, they were disarming their own agents.
More here.
I hear this ad on the local talk radio by Weston Wamp talking about how the oldest, most experienced congress ever is always fucking things up. Maybe we need new blood. Can’t find the ad online but I don’t disagree. Too may old farts who’ve been there too long.
The only thing worse is nepotism.
Supposed ‘family law’ (which is the law of families breaking up, really) is pretty ridiculous. But if you call the judge out for it, they’ll trump up charges and punish you.
Well, if I liked the idea of a shotty for a truck gun, sure.
20 servings of woopass. I know, it should be ‘whoop ass’. Russians.
Rahm Emanuel got on the TV and begged gangbangers to stop shooting kids. Citing values and magical unicorns. This man run the third largest city in the nation. The message should have been that you would round them up and arrest them. What a puss.
So, a woman was killed when she hugged a police officer and set off his gun. Based on what I’ve read, I’m puzzled at the mechanics. She hugged him from behind, so that has to mean shoulder holster most likely. But if the holster covered the trigger, how did it get pulled? Something is missing, this does not pass the smell test.
Be sure of your target and what’s behind it:
She was in the basement when she heard a loud “bang,” and then her 13-year-old son started screaming. A bullet had struck the family room window and continued on, piercing a wall in a bedroom closet where her 17-year-old son was sleeping.
House Republican Caucus Chairman Debra Maggart has not been so good on gun rights lately, stalling some legislation. Despite her clay shoots and the constant emails I get from her on her pro-gun stances, the proof is in the pudding. NRA has shelled out cash for her opponent, which is odd since they usually back incumbents who are reasonably pro gun.
So, the feds have offered a reward for info on the folks who shot Brian Terry with the gun they let walk across the border.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
