Obama supports ban on most popular sporting rifles in the country
But he won’t do anything.. It’s an election year err other things are more pressing.

Uh, wait a minute. “Improving Background Checks?” What Criteria do they plan on using to Deny Firearms Purchases? NRA Membership? Prior Gun Purchases (“How many Guns does one NEED to Own?”). Having a Gun Blog?
Hope some Pro-Gun Watchdog Org (listening NRA?) keeps an Eye on this. After all, we do have an Admin that Issues Imperial Edicts w/o any regard to their Constitutionality.

Please transmit to Sarah Brady that President Obama will have more flexibility after his last election.

“Uh, wait a minute. “Improving Background Checks?””
The “proposal” I’ve heard about is requiring background checks for buying ammunition.

I don’t think he’ll do it if he gets elected either, because vacations and golf are his top priority.
I’m 100% fine with that.

Can you say the equation: Support gun control = lose most, if not all, Blue Dog Democrats?
Nobama is on shaky enough ground as is, and he demonstrated it today with the Jimmah Cahtuh ploy: let the old failed whacko speak, but by video, so he can’t be in the Convention Center.
This just reeks of FAIL, and Obama knows it. Who twisted his arm to let Failure Personified even darken a TeeVee screen?

And he thinks that AK-47s are for “soldiers” and not citizens.
He demonstrated that he doesn’t know what kind of weapons our soldiers (as opposed to the Taliban or Iraqi insurgetsts) use.
Or maybe he inadvertantly tipped his hand that one or more branches of the military is following up the USMC’s award of its side arm contract to Colt (for a nice looking 1911a1 with a rail) by granting a contract to Norinco to supply our troops with AK-47s.
Well, we knew that the military was evaluating whether to continue using the M-16, didn’t we?
