that’s what happens whenever the government requires education for any license. You see it with CPR cards, CFC recovery training, and all sorts of training. It isn’t unique to guns.

They should yank all of those permits immediately and make them do the training over under state observation before they are ever allowed to have another permit. I gave up one Saturday to take Tennessee’s course. I don’t have any sympathy for anybody cutting corners. Geez, it’s just one day, not a freaking week!

Warning… to issue CCWs with false documents that is MAIL FRAUD (if sent through the mail, which they are.)
Felony conviction.
And yes, while back in Tennessee such happened and they were caught and charged with mail fraud.

For the ones that knew the certificates were bogus, they have traded the Misdemeanor of carrying a firearm without a license for a Felony for filling out the false paperwork. They are too stupid to own guns.
