He staged illegal sales of semi-auto rifles to drug cartels, is it so hard to imagine that they would look for a nutbag and give him some hardware and some ideas? I don’t think that’s what happened, but as conspiracy theories go, that one would be pretty easy to pull off.

Mustaine has completley bought into the conspiricy crap. His line of thinking is now like that of alex jones.
I do respect Dave and his music but he as a person is not able to get along with.

It does seem odd that these types crawl out of the woodwork at just the right time when “gun control” is being promoted. I don’t think that .gov is smart enough to pull off some kind of “mind control” and keep it secret, but something is setting these people off. I blame the lamestream media and their blood dance for encouraging the nut cases.

The number of mass shootings each year, both in terms of number of incidents and number of victims has been suprisingly stable for the last 30 years:

What changes is how much news coverage they get. Not suprisingly, when there is an existing debate about gun control going on, they tends to get a lot more news focus than when there’s no larger narrative to tie into.

In the 80’s they were lacing the weed with “green” or PCP – it was ugly and delirious and only the guys who liked downers would do it. Stay away from them and you’d be ok. I made a mistake one time…

The left controls all of the media except for Fox. They all dance in the blood when it will serve their goals.
They don’t even have to conspire much. Their collective hivemind just demands they do this.

Most everything happens by conspiracy unless it is purposed and planned by one person acting alone–which is, by the way, the official version on ALL U.S. political assassinations, whether attempted or successful. But we never hear discounting “the lone nut” theories.
You’ve just got to use respectable, acceptable language like saying you’re “connecting the dots” re: motivations to prevent you from being branded as a “conspiracy theorist”.

Gosh John Smith, that would’ve been a “far-fetched” “conspiracy theory” in 2008 and probably even early on in the Obama Administration, when Sec of St Clinton and Atty Gen Holder were blaming the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans for the “gun violence” in Mexico.

Not a doubt in my mind “Fast & Furious” was an attempt to push Americans into supporting a new semi-auto ban. I think Obama is a POS, but no way the recent shootings were any of his doings.

“Fast and Furious” has killed a lot more people than the shooting in Aurora, CO, which has benefitted the anti-gun, citizen disarmament agenda even more and helped to obfuscate public scrutiny from it.
Presidents are front men and are probably often clueless to what goes is done byestablished and renegade parts of the government. James Holmes was involved in a neuro science program which receives DoD funding and a cursory search of the long time CIA MK ultra program demonstrates that the possibility of using a programmed “lone nut” to prmote an agenda is not so far fetched:
