Speaking of building that, I’ve managed to build a mountain of paperwork as part of the new business. I’ve had to set up a trust to manage a self-directed IRA. Designate, through power of attorney, a trustee. I also had to set up a corporation. Prove that I have access to my money (weird, huh?). Get workers comp insurance. Will take two tests, one of which is on accounting and business law and is amusing because I’m a fucking CPA.
I’m racking up legal fees as fast as Tom Cruise is in his divorce. All of this to use my money to start a small business where I make something and sell it.
So, yeah, I guess someone else did make that happen. That mountain of paperwork that is.
