My favorite wife, the doctor, tells me that ischemic strokes (blood clots) are much kinder than bleeding strokes. But it also depends on how deep the doctors need to dig.
Get well, Mr. McDonald, and we’ll go to Midwest for a few rounds.

The blood clot being the result of the fall, or the fall being the result of the blood clot, are questions.
(I am not a believing person, though I can quote Gospel. My best human wishes.)

UPDATE: Otis wish to thank all of you for your prayers and support.
On Thursday he was admitted to the hospital and placed in ICU after a slight fall at his home. The diagnosis was a basal ganglia hemorrhage with extension to ventricles.
He’s now in a regular room. I spent today in Chicago with my Uncle and family. He is sitting up, eating, talking and on the road to recovery.
Otis sends thanks all. Frederick for //Otis McDonald
