During a phone interview, for a salary position, I just had a first; the recruiter asked if I would need health insurance. Never, in the 30 years I have worked (and searched for jobs) have I been asked that question. Haven’t gotten a real interview yet, but he hadn’t submitted my resume yet either. We’ll see.
hey, if they have to cut back on hours they’ll hire more people! sure, the number of people living in poverty will skyrocket but at least unemployment will go down!
I suspect there will be a plethora of 11 hr. part time jobs. Then, should a person be fortunate enough to find a 29 hr. job and an 11 hr. job that don’t interfere with one another, they’ll be only slightly worse off. Good luck folks.
